A Case for Integrating Media Literacy

blakespot / Foter

So many of today’s youth are tech savvy media producers. They are creating 21st century culture. In Education, we believe we are making progress as we slowly work to incorporate on and offline technological tools for production, collaboration, and communication into the classroom. But, are we missing a critical opportunity? We talk with educators Neil Andersen and Michelle Solomon from the Association for Media Literacy on integrating media literacy into the classroom.

Jane and our guests continued this conversation when they presented at the AML Conference on April 21, 2012. If you would like to see additional conversation about this topic check out #aml21c on twitter.
