The View from Montreal

Concordia University / Foter

We enjoyed having a guest for our last podcast that we decided to do it again this week. We met Philip when he commented about our podcast on Twitter and on this blog. We wanted to know more so we invited him to participate this week.

Phil is visiting us from Montreal’s Concordia University. He is Technology and Art teacher who is working on his Masters in Art Education with the Faculty of Fine Arts.

This week our podcast starts with a discussion about the Montreal Gazette’s article, “Computers in schools: money well-spent, Concordia University says“. We also talk about using technology in the classroom and the importance of PD for teachers. It was a fun discussion where we talk about art, technology, Arduino, science, media and music.

Hope you enjoy this episode and you can find the show notes in Google Docs.

Our video podcast can also be viewed on YouTube if you cannot view the Blip.tv video above.

Your feedback and episode ideas are always welcome.
